Rules Suggestions

General Conduct
[1] Do not spam
This is an essential rule that you must follow. If you spam you will recieve a warning.
Google Definition: Spam is the posting of advertisements, abusive, or unneeded messages on Internet forums. It is generally posted by automated spambots.
This means that posts containing any of the above or is seen fit by a moderator as spam then you can recieve a warning, some spam can be "blind eye'd" which means the moderator can ignore this spam intensionally.

[2] Do not double post
Do not double post unless you are notifing of an update to a thread, or bumping. If you are bumping please have the courtesy to delete it after it has served its purpose.

[3] Do not flame
This means that you must not insult other members in any way or form. If you find yourself being attacked by any other member then do not respond to it and click the "Report" button. Or PM any moderator or admin.

[4] Do not troll
Trolling is simular to flaming only it is indirectly insulting a member in an attempt to get them to attack you. Anyone seen trolling will recieve a warning. If the member flames at them for trolling they will get a caution.

[5] Do not post adult/offensive images
The forum is used by young members as well.Adult content of any kind must never be posted! If you are caught doing this you face an immediate IP Ban and the account removed along with the image.

[6] Do not advertise
Do not advertise your sites or any other sites, especially illegal warez sites or sites with malacious software, within your post. If malacious sites are advertised then you face an immediate IP Ban and account termination along with the removal of the link. The only exceptions to this rule are the following:
Clan site as long as it is within the clans thread or in a signature.
Personal site as long as it is within a signature.
Google, Youtube, Wikipedia are allowed to be advertised as they are often useful.
Map links can be posted. Smileys-war trains must never be linked to!

[7] Do not resurrect
This means is a topic hasn't been replied to for a long perios of time (dead) then you mustn't post in it. Unless it has been changed by the topic creater recently. This can result in a warning.

[8] Do not Off-Topic too much
Abuse of the Off-Topic code can result in a ban. The code is to be used in conjunction with a normal post On-Topic, you can reply to another off-topic with a off-topic without using normal post, but keep it to a minimum.

Warning System
Each member has 3 chances. iF they recieve 3 warnings they will be banned depending on the serverity of their actions.
If a member recieves a caution it counts as half a warning.
Usually respected/verteran members will recieve "special" rights in which they have an advantage over the other users when it comes to warning. If for no appart reason the member flips out and spams the board or flames at everyone they will recieve and off-record "courtisy ban", that may sound rediculous but this 1 day ban means that the forums are not in-danger of further spam and the member has time to calm down.

Zero Tolerance is the way forward.

I agree and that has been my attitude in every forum I have created. But since this is "Your Forumcloud" I wanted to make this a much more free community.

Well if we were going to apply those zero tolerance rules, then Cloud/myself/Nano know of a few examples of Trolling and Bashing.

I agree with A.C. I think it should be a little less strict; there's always going to be arguments and such on forums, and that's what I think makes them fun. Yes, there needs to be a line drawn were there actually gets to be really bad insults and threats, but maybe just reminder to tone down when it gets close to bad would be okay.

Well, of course we must however keep any possible problems away from the forum, the best way to stop crime is to prevent it!

agreed also another good way to stop crime is to launch criminals into the antarctic! dont kill em just get rid of em

Those rules only stop bad activity and has minimal restrictions. Also on a side note, launching criminals probably would kill them!

well you fly them over in one shot aircrafts and occasionally drop the essentials of life and every 5 years or so check the population, if its getting alright stop giving them food/resources! they should be fine
