Adoption Center

Inspired by the good folks of Magical Menagerie Laboratory (http://www.geocities.com/menagerie_labs/)

I have decided to make my own adoption center, exclusive for members of Forum Cloud, you should keep theses pets in a "Home Topic" (Start a topic called Membername's home, assuming you have on as an item) or just Show them off here or even on your signature. The eggs hatch in the time line granted for them.
There will also be a species encyclopedia (I am currently taking suggestions for future species via Private Contact).

Species: Kaboom
Sub Species: Common
Description: Wow what was that sound? I saw pieces of egg shell fly all over the place! Dammit it smells like methane gas in here. Wow! What are these? Oh I see, they forced themselfs out of the eggs using the stored up methane gas in their regenerable membranes (ones on the back and on the forehead), very clever defense technique, I don't really enjoy the smell though, but they are cute. Plus their mouth of theirs apparently sucks stuff up, so they tend to eat creamed meat and stuff that doesn't require chewing. They have a rapid egg development.


Species: Spindash
Sub Species: Common
Description: What the? Doesn't look all that different from a turtle does it. Well for starters it is really slow when it walks on his 2 legs, but he can stick them back in his shell, along with his retractable head and neck, and, still unknown how, start spinning rapidly, moving around like a pinball. That's how he got out of the egg, he "pinballed" the shell until he could get free. Well they have really really small mouth so they mostly eat seeds and grass, they enjoy living near water.


Species: Cryo Saliva
Sub Species: Common
Description: At first I thought it to be some sort of reptile when I found the egg's remaining shells covered in gooey saliva, but then I notice this rat sized creature, eating the remains of it's egg shell. And apparently this little guy loves whatever was on that shell (later I discovered it had a high concentration of fiber and proteins) which could point that he is an omnivore, since he would probably enjoy eating meat and grain seeds, his peculiar saliva still intrigues me, it appears to be ice cold. He moves around like a half-monkey/half-rodent, he sniffs everything and if he find something he likes he licks it with his small tongue for several hours and then nibbles the frozen bits.

Sub Species: Common
Description: Apparently they have a slow metabolism, which could also be an advantage sometimes. Its a small creature, the size of a Spindash, when standing on its hind limbs, but, unlike the other creatures, t seems to eat a lot for its slow metabolism, the reason for this is still unknown, but this half-insect/half-bird creature enjoys spending over 20 hours a day devouring several forms of cereal, leaves, roots, small insects, etc. I wonder why it needs so many nutrients, this type of behavior, however, is very common in larva, so I'm assuming it will suffer some sort of metamorphose.
